Description

Title: Cashier

Classification: Non-Exempt

The Cashier is responsible for greeting all customers with a smile, delivering excellent customer service, assisting customers in locating products, and accurately identifying produce items and codes. The role involves adhering to all state laws and company policies regarding alcohol, tobacco, WIC, and EBT transactions. The cashier also operates cash registers, handles money procedures, and balances the till at the end of each shift.

• Ability to perform mathematical operations related to job functions.
• Ability to identify produce items and their corresponding codes.
• Enjoy working with the public and possess good communication skills.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and extraordinary customer service.
