Workstream is seeking a friendly cashier to join our Utah team. You will manage transactions, operate the cash register and scanner, handle payments, and provide receipts while ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have POS experience, basic computer skills, strong math abilities, and excellent communication. Prior cashier roles and multitasking ability are a plus at this busy retail location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with POS systems and cash registers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with purchases.
• Balance and manage cash register transactions.
• Scan goods and verify pricing and quantities.
• Accept payments by cash, credit or check; provide receipts.
• Bag, wrap and package purchases for transport.
• Issue coupons, vouchers, or gift cards as needed.
• Process returns/refunds and resolve complaints.
• Upsell and cross-sell when appropriate.
• Maintain accuracy of pricing and daily cash reconciliation.
