Job summary

Ace Retail Group is hiring a Cashier responsible for register transactions and customer interactions in a busy hardware store environment. You will greet customers, balance tills, and assist with stocking, pricing and bagging merchandise while maintaining a clean, organized front end.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED with cashier and customer service experience preferred; lifting up to 25 lbs and some climbing may be required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Cashier experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering and throughout the store.
• Handle cash register transactions and balance drawer.
• Answer calls and pages promptly, courteously and effectively.
• Assist in pricing, stocking, marking and bagging merchandise.
• Keep front end neat and clean; rotate ads and merchandise as needed.
• Help customers with store layout and product locations.
