Job summary

GBMC HealthCare in Towson, MD is seeking a cashier to operate a cash receipt system, record and distribute cash transactions, and close out the cash register at the end of a scheduled shift. Under general supervision, you follow established policies to ensure accurate cash handling.

The role requires six months' cashiering experience, basic financial analysis for bill computation, and strong written and verbal communication.

Job description

Experience

Six months' experience cashiering in order to be familiar with cash register functions

Skills

• Skill in basic financial analysis for bill computation, payment processing and discrepancy recognition
• Skill in written and oral communication
• Ability to perform non-complex arithmetic in receiving money and making change
• Ability to operate the cash office with minimal supervision or assistance.

Pay Range

$17.24 - $23.91
