Job Summary

Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists in food preparation, sets up cashier station, maintains cleanliness, and assists in breakdown and cleanup.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts; help prepare catering orders.
2. Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
3. Conduct general cleaning; dispose of trash appropriately.
4. Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
5. Handle cashiering accurately, maintain cash accuracy, and make deposits at shift end.
6. Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
7. Set up serving line, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks if needed.
8. Serve hot and cold items to customers.
9. Prepare items for purchase daily.
10. Maintain refrigerator stock and rotate products using FIFO.
11. Stock pantries to par levels and record replenishments and temperatures daily.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned.
