Position Summary

The Cashier utilizes a cash register and accepts payment. Prepares and serves concession items to guests. Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $14 plus tips.

EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cash register sales by entering orders and completing transactions.
• Maintain stock and supply levels, and communicate with the Concessions Stand Manager about low stock items.
• Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes.
• Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages responsibly. Check guests’ IDs in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 or over.
• Three or more months of experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to learn to handle cash and operate a cash register and corresponding system.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers, and guests.
