Base pay range

$16.00/hr - $16.00/hr

Position Summary

The Cashier utilizes a cash register and accepts payment. Prepares and serves concession items to guests. Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $16 to $18, plus tips.

About The Venue

The Sevierville Convention Center offers a design that addresses the needs of arts, trade and retail shows, conventions, retreats, seminars, banquets, receptions, and holiday parties. The ballroom can accommodate up to 1500 people. The center features two exhibit halls totaling 107,562 sq ft and small meeting rooms. Located on Winfield Dunn Parkway, Sevierville, Tennessee, with scenic views of the Smoky Mountains and easy accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sales using the cash register, entering orders and completing transactions.
• Maintain stock and supplies, notifying management of low inventory.
• Respond to customer requests and concerns.
• Keep work area clean and organized, including disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes.
• Serve beverages responsibly, checking IDs for alcoholic drinks.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 or over.
• Experience in food service and cash handling preferred.
• Ability to learn cash register operation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
