Job Description

The Cashier at Roger Dunn Golf Shops is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture aligned with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy, which emphasizes putting the customer first to ensure a memorable and positive customer experience.

The Cashier handles all customer transactions, ensures guest satisfaction at the service desk, and maintains proper control of all cash and media materials. Responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent customer service, especially at checkout.
• Processing transactions through computer and POS register system.
• Assisting with floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance, and merchandise replenishment as needed.
• Recognizing and suggesting process improvements once fully trained.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Knowledge of processing information and merchandise via computer and POS system.
• Ability to access all store areas including sales floor, stock area, and register area by standing, walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and climbing ladders; ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business demands.

Qualifications Desired

Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply! Experience in retail or golf is a plus.

Golf knowledge/background is beneficial but not required.

The hourly rate ranges from $17.28 to $18.00, depending on experience, location, and training.
