Job summary

Runnings is seeking a friendly Cashier to interact with customers as they enter and leave our retail store. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment with some evening and rotating weekend hours.

Rate of Pay is $11.50 to $14.00 per hour, depending on experience. You will greet customers, answer questions, process transactions, handle cash, and assist with stocking and returns as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store and assist with service questions.
• Answer incoming calls and handle inquiries appropriately.
• Process transactions at the KCX cash register system with accurate cash handling.
• Ensure prices are updated and merchandise is stocked as directed.
• Manage customer returns according to store policy.

Job description

The Cashier is responsible to interact with customers as they enter and leave the retail store. The primary function of the Cashier is to provide excellent customer service. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• A. Greet customers as they enter the retail store, assisting with customer service questions.
• B. Answer incoming telephone calls and handle appropriately.
• C. Handle customer transactions utilizing KCX cash register system.
• D. Responsible for accurate cash handling.
• E. Price store merchandise as requested by store management.
• F. Stock merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
• G. Responsible for handling customer returns.
