Job description

Introduction:

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team and provide excellent service to our customers. The Cashier will be responsible for processing transactions, handling cash and credit card payments, and providing a high level of customer service. Duties include the packaging of orders. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for evenings with availability on Wednesdays and the weekends.

Responsibilities:

  1. Process transactions, including handling cash and credit card payments accurately; including packaging orders for drive thru, counter service, and online orders.
  2. Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and assisting customers with their purchases.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  4. Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  5. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a cashier or in a customer service role.
  2. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  3. Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload.
  4. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Basic math skills.
