Runnings in Indiana is seeking a courteous Cashier to greet customers, answer questions, and process transactions using the KCX POS system. This position requires standing for long periods and occasional lifting.

You will deliver excellent customer service, handle cash accurately, answer phones, price and stock merchandise, and manage returns. Work hours vary with occasional night or weekend coverage.

Description

The Cashier is responsible to interact with customers as they enter and leave the retail store. The primary function of the Cashier is to provide excellent customer service. Hours vary and there may be the need for occasional night or weekend coverage assistance.

Hourly Pay Range: $13.00-$15.00 Depending on experience.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

• The Cashier reports directly to the Store Manager.
• The Cashier has no direct supervisory authority.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers as they enter the retail store, assisting with customer service questions.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle appropriately.
• Handle customer transactions utilizing KCX cash register system.
• Responsible for accurate cash handling.

• Stock merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
