Your Day at Lowe's

Whether answering customer questions or assisting with payments and exchanges, your job as a cashier is to ensure every customer leaves satisfied. Most of your time will be at the register, but you may also help in other areas like stocking shelves or moving carts.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Assist customers proactively in the self-checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Manage cash register transactions, payments, and exchanges

• Maintain a clean and safe workstation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods
• Experience with computers, including data entry and access
• Lift at least 10 lbs unassisted, over 15 lbs with assistance
• Obtain any required sales-related licensure in your state

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience
• Bilingual skills
