Job description

Role Summary:

The Cashier position provides excellent customer service for a (City)-based parking operation, processes parking fees accurately, and completes a daily cashier's report.

This position will work the following schedule: (add schedule details).

General Essential Functions:

1. Provides a high level of customer service to all customers.
2. Uses revenue control systems, completes accurate cashier's reports, and balances transactions at shift start and end.
3. Ensures inventory of operational supplies is maintained and informs management if restock is needed.
4. Communicates clearly and effectively with employees and customers.
5. Operates and monitors facility security intercoms and surveillance monitors.
6. Remains vigilant for unusual or threatening activities and informs management immediately.
7. Monitors work area and property for safety and security.
8. Reports accidents, hazards, maintenance needs, and suspicious activities immediately to a manager.
9. Recognizes dangerous situations and responds appropriately.
10. Participates in safety and security trainings.
11. Performs light garage maintenance duties when required.
12. Maintains a clean work area.
13. Processes parking fees and related transactions accurately.
14. Ensures sufficient cash change at shift start.
15. Completes paperwork and accounts for revenue tickets and coupons.
16. Ensures tickets are completed properly, noting vehicle inspection and location.
17. May perform garage maintenance or valet procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

• A valid state driver's license may be required depending on site requirements.
• Math skills sufficient to calculate time and money.
