Position Details

Location: 41800 W. Ten Mile Rd., Novi, Michigan 48375

Position Summary

The Cashier is the team member who often has the most customer contact. Your responsibilities include maintaining a positive company image through your attitude, appearance, and concern for the store's profitability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Register Operations (70% or more): Operate cash register, scan merchandise, engage customers, process refunds, use loss prevention techniques, follow policies, promote Ace Rewards, and handle phone inquiries.
2. Sales Floor (30% or less): Greet customers, assist with merchandise questions, help locate items, display and stock merchandise, assist with color matching and other services, and help with cart collection and customer assistance.
3. Additional Duties: Provide recommendations and assistance within the store, maintain cleanliness, refer customer complaints, and work flexible schedules including weekends.

Relationships

Communicate professionally with customers, management, and team members.

Technology

Use of computer systems including Epicor.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Ability to read, speak effectively, and perform basic math.
• Ability to apply common sense and deal with standardized problems.
• Physical ability to walk, lift up to 50 pounds with assistance, and perform related tasks.

Work Environment
