Pay Range

This pay range is provided by Memphis Goodwill, Inc. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience. Please talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $12.00/hr - $12.00/hr

Responsibilities

1. Greet customers promptly and courteously via phone or in person, offering assistance.
2. Operate the POS system for accurate sales transactions, pricing, and merchandise information.
3. Handle cash transactions properly, including coupons and discounts.
4. Ensure the integrity of the “Change Round-up” program by asking customers to round up their change to support community initiatives.
5. Maintain cleanliness of the store front, counters, glass, and return shopping carts and baskets to proper areas.
6. Assist with promotional activities, including customer information, postings, and signage.
7. Keep the counter, showcases, and cash wraps neat and clean, and restock merchandise as needed.
8. Follow safety procedures, report hazards, and handle material movement equipment safely.
9. Assist in training new cashiers.
10. Maintain dressing rooms and re-hang clothes as necessary.
11. Organize apparel, shoes, accessories, and other merchandise on the sales floor, rotating stock as needed.
12. Adhere to all Memphis Goodwill policies, including safety, theft prevention, and cash handling procedures.
13. Perform duties aligned with our Guiding Principles and participate in activities outside of regular duties if asked.
14. Attend training sessions and perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader Coach.
