Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking team members who deliver friendly, efficient customer service at the front of the store. You will process member purchases, upgrade memberships, and assist at self-checkout while maintaining a clean, organized frontline area.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills preferred.
• Prior cashier or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner, including verifying, renewing, upgrading and offering several membership types.
• Scan club merchandise through a point-of-sale system to ensure accurate totals and inventory counts.
• Fill shopping carts when necessary and assist at self-checkout stations.
• Collect payments via cash, check, or other charge methods and issue receipts.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the frontline area and signage, and support club housekeeping as needed.
