Subway in Baytown is hiring for a Food Service Team Member. Interviews are being held at our brand-new location, with a focus on friendly customer service, food preparation, and efficient operations. Employees will greet customers, take orders, prepare items, handle transactions, and maintain a clean store.

Ideal candidates are team-oriented, reliable, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth and consistent weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills with focus on delivering an excellent experience.
• Team-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and quality.
• Strong time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good physical stamina to stand and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Clear communication with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for transactions and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers as they enter the store.
• Take orders and provide suggestions based on preferences.
• Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items per Subway standards.
• Handle ingredients and follow food safety protocols for storage and handling.
• Operate the POS system and process transactions (cash, card, mobile).
• Assist with balance and end-of-shift cash counting.
• Keep the store clean, stocked, and organized; maintain dining area and restrooms.
• Open and close duties as applicable and assist during busy periods.
