Job Summary

Performs cashier duties, including cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Performs sales transactions efficiently.
2. Enters sales into the register for accurate recording.
3. Makes change, accepts various payment methods, and issues receipts.
4. Follows procedures for cash refunds.
5. Interacts with customers and resolves complaints courteously.
6. Manages change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance with standards.
7. Observes customer purchases and differentiates portions.
8. Replenishes condiments, beverages, and maintains cleanliness.
9. Stocks pastry case and maintains inventory.
10. Ensures adherence to service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
11. Follows sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
12. Performs additional duties as assigned.
