Cashiers are the first point of contact for our guests and are directly responsible for delivering a great experience. You will take and enter orders, handle payments, keep the dining room and other guest areas clean, and provide excellent service by following standard operating procedures with a sense of urgency.

Duties and Responsibilities

The individual in this position is expected to:

• Complete all training requirements including Zaxbys Front of House Development Plan, hands-on stations training, and any additional required training.
• Provide friendly, enthusiastic service for all guests.
• Greet guests promptly and thank them upon departure.
• Maintain awareness of current promotions, explain menu items, answer questions, and suggest additional items.
• Accurately complete orders and guest transactions, operate cash registers, and handle payments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, including cleaning guest areas and maintaining equipment.
• Stock supplies, prepare menu items, and ensure food safety standards.
• Assist with kitchen and back-of-house tasks as needed.
• Complete all tasks with a sense of urgency, work safely, and follow all safety guidelines.

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to work 32 to 40 hours per week.

Capability Requirements

• Sit, stand, walk, and occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb.
