TravelCenters of America is hiring a Cashier II in Jacksonville, FL to deliver excellent customer service and operate the POS register. You will keep the food/beverage area clean, process transactions, and stock merchandise while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for travelers.

The role requires cash handling skills, familiarity with POS systems, and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays. TA offers benefits and growth opportunities at our nationwide travel centers.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of cashier experience preferred.
• Computer/POS knowledge required.
• Cash handling skills required.
• Merchandising/stocking experience preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Process transactions on a POS register and maintain a clean, stocked food/beverage area.
• Assist with receiving and unloading products; stock merchandise per planograms.
• Train lower-level cashiers on duties and responsibilities.
• Prioritize work according to store and management needs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
• Establish rapport with leaders and co-workers.
