Job summary

TravelCenters of America is hiring a Cashier II to join our team, delivering excellent customer service at our travel centers. You will process transactions at the POS, keep the area clean, stock merchandise, and support training for newer cashiers.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years cashier experience, basic computer/POS knowledge, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within TA.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cashier experience preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset and communication.
• Basic computer/POS knowledge required.
• Experience with stocking and merchandising is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers quickly and courteously at a POS register.
• Process transactions and maintain a clean, stocked area.
• Assist with receiving products and stocking merchandise on planograms.
• Help train junior cashiers on duties and responsibilities.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain communication with leaders and teammates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
