Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Cashier II to provide excellent customer service and process transactions at our travel centers. The role focuses on courteous, efficient service and maintaining a clean, stocked area across multiple locations in the TA network.

You will assist with receiving products, stocking merchandise, and training junior cashiers while following safety guidelines. This role offers growth opportunities and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cashier experience preferred.
• Computer/POS knowledge required.
• Merchandising/stocking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service.
• Serve each customer courteously, quickly and efficiently with a sincere, positive attitude.
• Process transactions on a POS register; maintain a clean, well-stocked food and beverage area.
• Assist with receiving product and unloads it; stock and organize merchandise on planograms.
• Assist with training lower-level cashiers on job duties and responsibilities.
• Prioritize work according to store and management needs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
