SHARED ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Proficient in operating cash registers and Micros computers for all food outlets.
- Maintain expected service levels, ensure all revenue is accurately handled, and uphold internal controls during system outages.
- Communicate effectively in a clear, professional, and friendly manner with guests and employees.
- Manage and deliver comps to guests accurately.
- Differentiate guest service levels and prioritize service for appropriate tiers during transactions.
- Ensure tables are clear, properly set up, and presentable before seating guests.
- Present an impressionable persona when greeting guests and during their departure.
- Present menus to customers and inform/up-sell specials or chef's features with enticing language.
- Engage guests in conversation during seating and/or register transactions.
- Handle and resolve guest concerns and questions.
- Act as a role model to other employees, always representing Harrah’s positively and encouraging others to do the same.
- Adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
CASHIER
- Keep designated work areas clean and organized; assist in maintaining dining room cleanliness.
- Observe all safety rules and regulations.
- Ensure assigned areas are clean and debris-free.
- Maintain proper food levels to ensure high-quality products for guests as per company standards.
- Maintain a positive attitude, greet everyone with a smile, and use departmental greetings.
- Perform all related duties in accordance with departmental and Caesar’s policies, practices, and procedures as defined by the Executive Chef and company standards.
Host
- Reserve and manage guest bookings/reservations appropriately.
- Manage the flow of business and seat the restaurant in rotation regardless of volume.
- Collaborate with servers, bussers, and management to ensure food quality, dining experience, and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure accurate setup for large groups or parties.
- Keep the host stand area clean and organized; assist in maintaining dining room cleanliness, including assisting bussers and servers as needed.
ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Accurately gather vital guest information for communication with management and casino hosts.
- Uphold standards of dining room ambiance and atmosphere.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Preference for three months of previous experience as a Host/Cashier.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must maneuver throughout the restaurant during shifts.

- Maneuver in a kitchen setting.
- Work on a computer for extended periods.
- Operate in a noisy environment.
