Job summary

Chit Chat Diner in West Orange, NJ is seeking friendly Hosts/Hostesses to greet guests, seat diners promptly, and contribute to a memorable dining experience in a fast-paced setting. About the Job:

We are looking for extraordinary Hosts/Hostesses that can give our diners a unique and memorable experience, to the highest of standards. If you are looking for a challenge and your next thrilling career move, then we want you!

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests.
• Registers.
• Taking food orders to go over the phone and processing them in a timely manner.
• Processing dessert orders for servers (dine-in and to-go) and for customers directly at the register.
• Sitting guests in a timely manner and not overloading servers.
• Setting up tables for large groups.
• Keeping the register area clean at all times.
• Cleaning menus.
• Changing specials throughout the day in menus.
• Making sure restrooms are stocked accordingly.
• Must be able to lift.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to bend.
