Pay Range

This range is provided by Memphis Goodwill, Inc. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience. Please talk with your recruiter for more details.

Base Pay Range

$12.00/hr - $12.00/hr

Responsibilities

1. Greet customers promptly and courteously via phone or in person, offering assistance.
2. Operate the POS system to ensure accurate sales data, pricing, and merchandise information.
3. Handle cash transactions properly, including coupons and discounts.
4. Promote the “Change Round-up” program by asking customers to round up their change to support the community mission.
5. Maintain cleanliness of the front area, including doors, counters, and glass; keep the store tidy and return shopping carts and baskets to proper areas.
6. Assist with store promotions, including customer information, postings, and display setups.
7. Keep the counter, showcases, and cash wrap area neat and organized.
8. Follow safety procedures, handle equipment properly, and report hazards or concerns.
9. Assist in training new cashiers.
10. Maintain dressing rooms and re-hang clothes as needed.
11. Organize merchandise on the sales floor and rotate stock appropriately.
12. Follow all policies and procedures, including safety, theft prevention, and cash handling.
13. Perform duties aligned with the organization’s guiding principles.
14. Participate in activities outside of typical job duties if asked.
15. Attend training sessions as scheduled.
16. Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader Coach.
