Job summary

Los Tacos No. 1 in Grand Center is hiring a friendly cashier to greet guests, take orders, and process payments with a POS system. You will help keep the dining area clean, stock supplies, and provide fast, accurate service.

You should have prior cash handling experience, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage of 18 dollars plus tips and a vibrant, team-focused work culture.

Qualifications

• Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales.
• Proven experience in a customer service role is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Good math skills.
• Basic PC knowledge.
• Ability to handle cash and credit transactions.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize task.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and assist with orders.
• Enter food orders using POS system.
• Handle cash and credit transactions.
• Count money in cash drawer at start and end of shift.
• Maintain salsa bar and stock beverage supplies.
• Clean dining area and cashier station.
• Upsell products and promotions.
• Resolve customer complaints and provide information.
• Follow health, safety and food handling guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by MOD.
