The position requires reliability, strong English communication, and the ability to stand for long periods. Training across departments is possible, with opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Willing to work hard and stay on your feet indoors or outdoors.
• Strong reading, writing, and spoken English.
• Basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Friendly and positive demeanor with a helpful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become knowledgeable in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age verification.
• Upsell customers to increase sales where appropriate.
• Keep store interiors and exteriors clean and safe; bathrooms, pumps, and lot areas.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays; keep merchandise looking fresh.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed and follow safety procedures.
