Job summary

Habit Burger & Grill is hiring a friendly, energetic Cashier for part-time roles in Gardena, CA. You will greet guests, take orders, and handle payments with accuracy while maintaining a clean dining area and a welcoming store environment.

You will be cross-trained across stations and learn basic duties to support the front of house and BOH team, helping you grow within the company. Prior cashier experience is preferred, and flexible scheduling is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in related food service cashier position preferred.
• Food Handler’s Card/Certification may be required according to local/state regulations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly manner and take orders.
• Punch orders into the POS system and process payments accurately.
• Provide information on menu items, ingredients, and prices.
• Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure accuracy in order details.
• Maintain neat, clean dining and service areas and assist with restocking.
