Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking friendly cashiers for a fast-paced store environment. You will help customers find items, answer questions, and process transactions quickly and accurately.

You may work across departments and support food safety for deli products, cleaning duties, and lifting 25+ pounds. We offer tuition assistance, PTO, flexible scheduling, 401(k) with 100% match up to 5%, and comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage after 30 days.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including helping customers.
• Balancing a cash register and processing transactions.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service.
• Balance cash register and offer additional sales opportunities while following all laws.
• Maintain proper food safety for deli products.
• Clean and maintain the working area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and related spaces.
• Cross-train in other departments and potentially take on leadership tasks.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds; work in varying temperatures.
