Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a friendly Cashier to join our store team. You will serve customers at the register, process transactions on a POS system, keep the food and beverage area clean, and stock merchandise as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic cashier experience or familiarity with cash handling and POS systems.
• Strong customer-service skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling transactions.

Responsibilities

• Work in a friendly, customer-focused environment and provide excellent service.
• Serve each customer courteously and efficiently at the POS register.
• Process transactions on a POS system and maintain a clean, stocked food/beverage area.
• Prioritize tasks according to store needs and safety guidelines.
• Establish rapport with customers and coworkers and follow safety procedures.
