Position Summary

The Cashier is responsible for checking out customers' merchandise through the POS registers and performing various customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging all customers promptly and friendly, and handling merchandise with care.

Essential Functions

• Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service, ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Approach all customers in a friendly and outgoing manner.
• Remain knowledgeable about products and aware of advertised sales.
• Stock and straighten shelves and pegs when not directly ringing up products.
• Provide a legendary customer experience by assisting in making buying decisions, identifying customer needs, recommending products, and promoting programs like CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to calculate discounts and make change accurately.
• Ability to communicate professionally and friendly with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to operate a computerized POS register system.
