Job summary

SSP America is hiring a cashier at our Tampa airport locations. You will handle orders, process payments, and serve a range of drinks and foods while ensuring quick, accurate service.

The role emphasizes customer interaction, cash handling and maintaining clean work areas. A High School diploma is preferred; 6 months of retail or food service experience is desired; strong English communication is required; on-site team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience in retail or food service is essential.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Verbal and written communication is essential; English language proficiency required to communicate with guests and take orders.
• Experience in dealing with customer service problems.
• Basic math skills to operate a cash register, make change, and balance cash.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from the customer and provide correct change.
• Serve drinks and a wide variety of food items to guests.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Maintain a clean work area throughout the day.
• Clean equipment and utensils and remove trash as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned
