Job summary

Baptist is seeking a diligent cashier to operate cash registers, handle transactions, and provide excellent customer service in a retail setting.

Responsibilities include inventory support, order preparation, and maintaining a clean, organized checkout area. You will balance cash at shift end and assist other store operations as needed.

• Assists manager in general housekeeping and maintenance of stockroom.
• Responsible for balancing cash register at the end of shift and reporting any shortages immediately.
• Maintains store operations in the absence of the manager.
• Takes phone orders from customers.
• Writes legibly.
• Channels communications to appropriate personnel.
