Job summary

Wet Willie's in Washington State is seeking a friendly cashier to join our retail team. You will handle cash, verify prices, and assist customers with purchases in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating the register and cataloging systems, protecting store security, delivering quick, pleasant service, and upholding company policies with professional appearance and attitude at all times.

Qualifications

• Cash handling, price verification, and high accuracy in transactions.

• Ability to learn and operate cataloging and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register, verify prices, and process daily paperwork.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide fast, friendly service.

Job description

• Cash handling functions, confirming prices
• Assisting customers with their purchases
• Operating a cash register, computer and paper cataloging systems and processing daily paperwork and forms
• Ensures that unauthorized persons are not operating their assigned cash register and keeps passwords confidential
• Ensures customers are waited on quickly, efficiently and in a pleasant manner
• Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as presenting professional conduct and appearance at all times
• Adhering to company policies and procedures

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prior knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems are helpful
• Exceptional customer service and communications skills (both written and verbal)
• A positive attitude and great personal drive
• A willingness and ability to learn in a fast-paced retail sales environment
• Availability to work on weekends
• Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation is a MUST
• Both a pre-employment drug screen and background checkmay berequired for all applicants for this position
