Job summary

Tri-Energy Cooperative in Dickinson, ND is seeking a Cashier/Customer Service Associate to deliver friendly service, process sales, keep the shop well-stocked, and maintain a clean, safe gas station and store.

You will greet customers, handle transactions accurately, assist in food prep as needed, and work with the team to uphold service standards, with flexible hours and opportunities for additional shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.

Title: Cashier/Customer Service Associate

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Customer Service Associate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. The primary responsibilities will include delivering exceptional service, processing sales transactions accurately, maintaining a well-stocked and organized store, and contributing to a clean and safe shopping environment. A commitment to providing outstanding service will contribute to the development of repeat customers and the overall success of our operations.

Physical Demands:

• Continuously – 66-100% - Use hands dexterously, talk or hear, prolonged periods standing and working on a cash register or related equipment.
• Frequently – 34-65% - Walk, sit, stoop/kneel/crouch, or climb, lift up to 15 pounds.
• Occasional – 1-33% - Reach with hands and arms, or balance, or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods.
• Some locations may require the physical ability to lift up to 40-pound propane tanks.
• This position occasionally requires the ability to work outdoors in adverse weather or temperature conditions.
