Job Title: Cashier

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Cashier positions at the SCAD Turner House Convenience Store, located at 302 West Boundary Street, Savannah, GA 31401. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time shifts from Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Weekends are required. Additional details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Prior cashier, restocking, and cleaning experience is preferred.

Summary: Performs cashiering duties including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in food preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform sales transactions efficiently.
2. Enter all sales into the cash register accurately.
3. Make change, accept various payment methods, and issue receipts.
4. Follow procedures for cash refunds.
5. Interact with customers and resolve complaints professionally.
6. Manage change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance with standards.
7. Observe customer purchases and differentiate portions.
8. Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies, maintaining cleanliness.
9. Keep pastry case stocked.
10. Ensure compliance with service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
11. Follow sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
