  • We are hiring immediately for a full time CASHIER position.
  • Address: St Joseph Medical Center - 333 Madison Street, Joliet, IL 60435. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, including rotating nights, weekends, and holidays; more details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Two years of previous cashier experience is preferred but not required. Willing to train!
  • Pay Range: $15.50 to $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary



Summary: Performs cashier duties, including cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting receipts, and completing cash reports. May also assist with food service. Maintains sanitation standards in all areas.

  • Processes sales transactions efficiently.
  • Records sales accurately in the register.
  • Makes change, accepts various payment methods, and issues receipts.
  • Handles refunds following standard procedures.
  • Provides friendly customer service and resolves complaints.
  • Manages assigned cash funds and receipts, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Observes customer purchases and differentiates portions.
  • Replenishes supplies and maintains cleanliness.
  • Keeps pastry case stocked.
  • Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory, and cash procedures.
  • Follows sanitation, ServSafe, and safety guidelines.
  • Performs additional duties as needed.
