We are hiring immediately for a full-time CASHIER position at Globalcafe, located at 400 Stone Break Road Ext, Malta, NY 12020. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, hours may vary. Day shift position, may include a weekend day. More details upon interview.

Requirements: Previous experience is preferred but not required. Willing to train.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work and maintain sanitation standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform sales transactions promptly and accurately.
2. Enter all sales into the cash register.
3. Make change, accept various payment methods, and issue receipts.
4. Follow procedures for refunds.
5. Interact with customers and resolve complaints friendly and professionally.
6. Manage change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance with standards.
7. Monitor customer purchases and maintain cleanliness and stock of service areas.
8. Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and company standards.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
