We are hiring immediately for a full-time CASHIER position.

Location: Globalcafe - 400 Stone Break Road Ext, Malta, NY 12020. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, hours may vary. Day shift position. May include a weekend day. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous experience preferred but not required. Willing to train.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashiering duties, including cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs sales transactions efficiently.
• Enters sales into the register for accurate recording.
• Makes change, accepts various payment methods, and issues receipts.
• Follows procedures for cash refunds.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints professionally.
• Manages change funds and cash receipts in compliance with standards.
• Observes customer purchases and differentiates portions.
• Replenishes supplies and maintains cleanliness.
• Keeps pastry case stocked.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
• Adheres to sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
