Job Opening: Cashier at Morrison Healthcare

We are hiring immediately for a full-time CASHIER position at Morrison Healthcare.

Location

Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center - 6411 Fannin Street, Houston, TX 77030. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule

Full-time schedule with varying days, including rotating weekends. Hours: 10:00 pm - 4:00 am. More details provided during interview.

Requirements

Previous food service cashier experience preferred.

Pay Range

$15.00 to $18.94 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties including cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service tasks. Maintains sanitation standards in all areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Process sales transactions promptly and accurately.
2. Enter all sales into the cash register and handle payments, including cash and declining balance cards.
3. Issue receipts and handle refunds according to standard procedures.
4. Interact with customers professionally, resolving complaints courteously.
5. Manage change funds and ensure cash drawer accuracy.
6. Observe customer purchases and maintain cleanliness and stock of service areas.
7. Adhere to sanitation, safety, and inventory control standards.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned.
