Job description

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time CASHIER position at 1 Harrison Plaza, Florence, AL 35632. This full‑time role may include weekends and requires online applications only.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties, including cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, issuing change, counting receipts, and completing cash reports. May also assist with general food service work and maintain sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions quickly and accurately.
• Enter all sales into the cash register to ensure accurate recordings.
• Provide change, accept declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment, and issue receipts to customers.
• Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service‑oriented manner.
• Manage assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring the cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Monitor customer purchases in the line and differentiate between standard portion sizes.
• Replenish condiments, coffee, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining a clean service area.
• Keep pastry case stocked.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
• Adhere to all sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Employment Details

Fixed pay rate: $12.00 per hour.
