Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashier duties, including cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in all areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform sales transactions efficiently.
• Enter all sales accurately into the register.
• Handle payments, issue receipts, and process refunds following standard procedures.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints courteously.
• Manage cash drawer and change funds, ensuring compliance with overage/shortage policies.
• Monitor customer purchases and differentiate standard portions.
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness of service areas.
• Stock pastry cases and ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
