Job summary

Total Wine & More in Centennial, CO is hiring a Cashier/Front End team member to deliver fast, friendly service. You will process transactions, answer questions, promote the loyalty program, and help with merchandising.

The role may also include duties as a sales associate or merchandiser and requires weekend availability. You will join a team focused on an exceptional customer experience, upholding safety and legal alcohol sale guidelines, and continually learning about wine, beer, and spirits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for best-in-class customer service and team player mindset.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years in retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification and payment handling.
• Answer customer questions and promote loyalty program.
• Bag products and ensure a positive, personalized customer experience.
• Inform customers about products and services and maintain knowledge of promotions and ads.
• Participate in training to build product knowledge and uphold safety/ cleanliness standards.

About the role

As a Cashier, you play an essential role in the customer service experience by providing customers with fast and friendly service. You will process transactions, answer questions, and ensure customers leave feeling positive about their visit. While both part-time and full-time positions generally focus on being a cashier, you may also be assigned as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate. Internally, you will be referred to Front End Team Member and report to the store management team. You will Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, answering inquiries, promoting loyalty program, and bagging product Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

You will come with High school diploma or equivalent preferred Passion for best-in-class customer service and team player mindset 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends

Physical requirements

Physical requirements (with or without accommodations) Must be 21 years of age or older Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead and repeatedly May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday

Compensation

Worker Type: Regular Pay Range: $18.55 - $25.97 Hourly
