• We are hiring immediately for a full-time CASHIER position.
• Location: ABQ Cafe - 2261 Q Street Northeast, Suite 2A, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in all areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Performs sales transactions efficiently.
2. Enters all sales into the register accurately.
3. Makes change, accepts various payment methods, and issues receipts.
4. Follows procedures for refunds.
5. Interacts positively with customers and resolves complaints.
6. Manages cash funds and receipts according to standards.
7. Monitors customer purchases and maintains service area cleanliness.
8. Replenishes supplies and stocks pastry case.
9. Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory, and cash procedures.
10. Follows sanitation, ServSafe, and safety regulations.
11. Performs additional duties as assigned.
