Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking an Office Cashier in Monroe, LA to process customer transactions and manage office money flow. You will assist customers in locating products, perform price verifications, and provide efficient checkout services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include handling money, deposits, and deposits logs, maintaining accurate records, and staying updated on tender policies. A team-oriented attitude and flexibility for scheduling are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of age; 21+ for driver duties where applicable.
• Intermediate knowledge of cash register and tender policies.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail office setting.
• Know-how to handle money accurately and comply with AML regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process requests for Western Union, money orders, lottery tickets, coin redemptions, refunds, and equipment rental.
• Prepare cash/check deposits and maintain accurate store financial records.
• Balance cash drawers and report discrepancies to management.
• Answer phones and assist store office activities such as ordering supplies and assisting cashiers.
• Adhere to all local, state and federal laws related to sales of restricted items when applicable.
