Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking entry-level Team Members for front-end cashier duties in a fast-paced store environment in Connecticut.

You will assist customers at checkout, bag groceries, and support customer service desks with a focus on courtesy, efficiency, and accuracy. Responsibilities include processing transactions, maintaining clean front-end areas, and following cash handling procedures. This role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, and adherence to health

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows proper cash handling procedures.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Maintains clean and stocked Front End areas, including register and displays.
• Provides excellent customer service and responds to customer needs promptly.
• Assists in training new Cashier Team Members.
• Manages customer flow to reduce wait times.
• Participates in company programs as directed by leadership.
• Ensures compliance with health, safety, and Weights & Measures procedures.
