Marden's is seeking a practical Cashier/Associate to deliver friendly, efficient service at the Houlton, ME location. As the final point of contact, you will handle transactions, assist customers, and contribute to a fast-paced checkout experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing sales on the POS, maintaining a neat, stocked register area, and following store policies. Weekend availability is preferred to support busy periods and seasonal demand.

Formación

• Ability to accurately handle cash and complete transactions.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner.

• Handle cash, credit, debit, checks, and other approved forms of payment.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the shift.
• Bag purchased merchandise carefully and efficiently.
• Answer basic customer questions and direct to the right department.
• Keep checkout area clean, organized, and inviting.
• Assist with stocking bags, receipt paper, and front-end supplies.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Notify a supervisor of customer concerns or issues requiring assistance.
• Perform other duties to support store operations.
