Job Summary

Operate Point of Sale system, assist the Chef, prepare coffee, and maintain cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts; assist with catering orders.
2. Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
3. Perform general cleaning; remove trash and garbage.
4. Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
5. Handle cashiering accurately, maintain cash accuracy, and make deposits at shift end.
6. Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
7. Set up serving line, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks if temperatures are outside acceptable ranges.
8. Serve hot and cold items to customers.
9. Arrange items for purchase daily.
10. Stock refrigerator and rotate products using FIFO; record temperatures daily.
11. Maintain pantry stock levels, record replenishments, and monitor refrigerator temperatures.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
