Job Opening: Part-Time Cashier/Food Service Worker

We are hiring immediately for a Part-Time Cashier/Food Service Worker position at UCI Health Lakewood, located at 3700 East South Street, Lakewood, CA 90712. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time; Monday through Sunday, including weekends and holidays. Hours are from 6:00 am to 7:30 pm. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Prior experience with cash handling and knowledge of using a POS system are required.

Pay Range: $23.00 to $29.44 per hour.

Job Summary

The role involves operating the Point of Sale system, assisting the Chef, preparing coffee, and maintaining cleanliness at the coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, including catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system, ensuring cash accuracy and making deposits.
• Perform general cleaning duties, including trash removal.
• Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Maintain proper food temperatures, record keeping, and inventory management.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers and restock supplies as needed.
