We are hiring immediately for part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.

Location: East Windsor Regional BOE, 25 Leshin Lane, Hightstown, NJ 08520. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part Time; available 5 hours per day between 8:00 am - 2:00 pm; Monday through Friday - School Days. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Good communication skills.

Pay Rate: $16.04 per hour.

Job Summary

Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness at coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Helps prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts. Assists with catering orders.
• Performs cashier duties using the POS system.
• Performs general cleaning duties; manages trash and garbage.
• Provides service across retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Handles cashiering accurately, maintains cash accuracy, and makes deposits at shift end.
• Inventories and restocks supplies and food products.
• Sets up serving line, monitors food temperatures, and notifies cooks if needed.
• Serves hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepares items for purchase daily.
• Keeps refrigerator stocked and rotates products using FIFO.
• Stocks pantries, records replenishments, and monitors refrigerator temperatures daily.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
